Gus Cois is a Partner and Southeast Region Leader at DBI Consultants. His primary role at DBI is to manage large complex property losses throughout the United States, including building damage evaluation and construction cost estimating for insurance carriers, independent adjustment firms, and law firms. Mr. Cois' past projects contain a wide variety of consulting services, including projects in the luxury residential arena throughout the North and Southeast affected by countless perils. In addition, he has consulted on various builders' risk claims, identifying and negotiating the impact of construction delays. Mr. Cois has provided testimony in several depositions, as well as in a multitude of litigation cases that were settled prior to trial. His professional experience also includes international projects as a building consultant, most notably in Thailand after heavy rains lead to wide spread flooding and Haiti after an earthquake for large-scale manufacturing facilities profoundly impacted by these natural disasters.
