Sean Tobe is a commercial insurance advisor and commercial lines business development leader. He helps clients with commercial insurance, including workers’ compensation, flood, directors and officers (D&O), cyber, employment practices liability (EPL), umbrella, auto, and professional liability.

He uses a risk management mentality to review a company's exposures and provide insurance solutions that reduce risk. His current responsibilities as a commercial agent, in combination with his previous personal lines and underwriting experience, have afforded him a detailed understanding of the insurance business, and the challenges associated with each individual policy.

Sean has been with Brown & Brown Insurance for more than 11 years. Earlier in his career he worked as a surplus lines underwriter for Tower Hill Insurance. He earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida in 2005. Sean is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), as designated by The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research.
