Scott Smith is the Director of P&C Operations with Colonial Claims LLC. Scott has over 32 years of claims experience that began with Shelter Mutual in 1990 as a multi-line adjuster.

As a staff adjuster, Scott was trained to handle auto, property, farm, liability, and bodily injury claims. Scott received many awards and recognition by Shelter for his claim handling skills.

Scott joined Colonial Claims in 2019 as the Director of P&C Operations. Colonial Claims just celebrated over 40 years of business and is recognized as one of the largest Independent Adjusting firms in the US. Scott oversees all PC Operations including residential and commercial claim handling, TPA Services, Pre-Litigation Services, and catastrophe response. Through Scott’s leadership Colonial P&C has experienced 200% growth year to year. Additionally, Colonial has received Delegated Authority status from the Lloyd’s market.

Scott brings urgency to each task and expects that of his co-workers.
