Scott W. Dutton

Scott Dutton founded Dutton Law Group in September, 2001 and has overseen its growth to 30 attorneys serving clients from seven offices across the state of Florida. He is Board Certified in Civil Trial Practice by The Florida Bar, a designation he has maintained since 1992.

Scott handles matters involving appellate law, bad faith claims, casualty insurance defense, first party property claims, fraud & SIU, personal injury protection (PIP), and products liability. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Florida Defense Lawyers, and served as their Continuing Legal Education Chairperson. He is presently on the Board of Directors for the Medical Claim Defense Network (MCDN). Additionally, he is a frequent CLE guest lecturer. He is AV Preeminent Peer Review Rated by Martindale Hubbell. He earned his J.D. from Ohio Northern University, Pettit College of Law in 1984 and was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1985.
