Executive Public Adjuster / Public Adjuster, Appraiser, & Umpire
Stone Claims
I was in college obtaining a mechanical engineering degree is when I was exposed to property insurance claims. This happened while I was managing a restoration and construction company prior to the existence of the organizations and standards in-place today. I continued managing a restoration company after graduating from college and obtained numerous IICRC abatement, cleaning, and restoration certifications, IAQA abatement certification, and became a certified user of Xactimate shortly after its release on Dos systems.
Once I was exposed to the good, bad, and illegal contractors attempting to adjust homeowners’ property insurance claims, I became an independent insurance property adjuster and obtained extensive experience with State Farm. I was able to acquire vast experience and knowledge as an independent insurance adjuster and how insurance companies operated. Once unscrupulous practices became the norm with property damage claims, I saw a need for contractors specializing in abatement and restoration. I assisted many homeowners restore their property after a loss but I primary focused on industrial, commercial, and multi-family properties needing assistance with abatement, restoration, hazardous materials, and biohazard projects.
After working in the construction and restoration industry for several years, I added building inspector and lead renovator’s accreditations to my knowledge base then started an adjusting and consulting firm. I adjusted property claims and provided consultation to insurance companies, adjusters, developers, contractors, commercial/multi-family property owners/investors, as well as local municipalities, state, and federal governments and agencies resolve challenging problems with their properties and property claims.
After a decade of assisting a vast spectrum of clients resolve large complex property issues and repair property damage related to insurance claims, I am now a public adjuster. I still hold myself accountable to produce an independent fair assessment, adjustment, and resolution of complex property claims.
