A. Abidemi Oladipo, represents and counsels commercial and private policyholders in all matters against insurance companies. Mr. Oladipo is a seasoned and experienced civil litigator, with an extensive history of representing international, national and Florida-domestic insurance carriers and third-party administrators in all matters of insurance coverage and insurance defense litigation. Mr. Oladipo brings his past experience at an AmLaw 200 law firm and other highly regarded defense firms handling complex insurance coverage, class actions, multidistrict and other litigation to his perspective in developing effective strategies to enable policyholders to fully recover for losses under their insurance portfolios.
Mr. Oladipo has directly handled a wide array of insurance coverage disputes, beginning with pre-suit claim counseling through litigation and trial, arising from first-party property losses; third-party liability; commercial property losses; business interruption/income losses; construction defects; sinkhole losses; hurricane losses; professional liability; fraud investigations; errors and omissions; directors and officers; fidelity bonds; bankers blanket bonds and specialty insurance losses. Mr. Oladipo, a seasoned litigator, has been the lead attorney in more than eighty-five jury trials throughout his career.
Mr. Oladipo began his legal career as a prosecutor at the Office of the State Attorney for the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit of Florida in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In a prior position, Mr. Oladipo served as claims counsel to a London-based insurer, managing claims filed by financial institutions and bankers based on the fraudulent acts of employees and other specified individuals. Immediately prior to joining the partnership at Mubarak, Sherif, & Oladipo, PLLC, Mr. Oladipo worked as a Managing Attorney/Senior Associate General Counsel at the largest homeowner’s insurance carrier in Florida.
Mr. Oladipo is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Florida State University College of Law.
