George W. Keys, Jr., SPPA is the President of Keys Claims Consultants, LLC. Mr. Keys has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Almeda University. He has over 40 years in the claims profession. He began his career with Commercial Union Insurance Company where he worked his way to a Property General Adjuster and Catastrophe Coordinator. In 1993, he became a Public Adjuster. He holds the highest designation obtainable by exam, Senior Professional Public Adjuster (SPPA) from the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters. Mr. Keys is also a WIND Certified Appraiser and WIND Certified Umpire. He belongs to several Associations, including the Windstorm Insurance Network and The National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (NAPIA). He is a current and founding member of the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (FAPIA) and a three-time past President. Mr. Keys’ areas of practice include Appraisal, Arbitration, Expert Testimony, and Policy Interpretation and Application. He specializes in condominium, commercial, and resort losses. He has extensive expertise with hurricane, earthquake, sinkhole and fire damage. He has presented before the Florida Bar Association, the American Association for Justice and the Windstorm Insurance Network.
