David C. Murray, JD, MBA

David is a trial lawyer with Murray Law Group who has devoted more than 20 years of his practice to representing policyholders in insurance claims disputes in both state and federal courts. He earned his undergraduate degree from Elon College, his JD and MBA from Stetson University. Over the last 20 years David has been involved in a wide spectrum of contractual and extra contractual matters including property losses, casualty claims, construction defect allegations, complex insurance coverage matters, bad faith and unfair claims handling violations. He is admitted to practice in all State and Federal Courts in the state of Florida, is a Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator, and has extensive trial experience. David has also been honored year after year by the Florida Super Lawyers publication in the area of insurance coverage, first as a “Rising Star” and then as a “Super Lawyer”. He was awarded an “AV” Preeminent Rating by Martindale-Hubbell signifying that he has been determined to have the highest level of legal skill, integrity, and ethical standards in the area of insurance coverage. David is a recognized authority on property insurance coverage issues and is involved in a wide range of regulatory and legislative matters involving first-party property insurance. He is a frequent speaker for insurance related topics for various organizations.
