This workshop will address the new statutory changes as to claims handling for both the policyholder and the insurer. And, how a bad faith cause of action is significantly changed by new statute. Next, new time frames for communicating between the policyholder and insurer, and suggestions for better communications. Next, because fees and costs may not be awarded, as matter of right for any losses that occur after 1/1/2023, recommendations and practical tips for all insurance adjusters, both insurer and public adjusters, on ways to amicably resolve claims w/o the threat of litigation.
